I picked up a few things from Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply. This is my favorite nail polish remover I normally just get the pink one(acetone) from Sally's but they were having a sale so I got the regular one (pure acetone) as well. At Ulta I picked up a razor, shower cap (for deep conditioning my hair) and this Ulta brand cinnamon roll shower gel. They had a few different "flavors" on clearance, this one smelled the yummiest. I think these are a dupe for Philosophy's 3 in 1 shower gels. I picked up some new mascara I have heard good things about this one  Ulta also had a sale on the Urban Decay Black Palette so of course I got it. It's an older palette but one I didn't have it.

For the July  Julep Maven  box I chose the It Girl Box. This month every  Julep Maven  box  got a bonus polish, America-The Beautiful (or O Canada if you live in Canada) these are the nail colors I got  -Daphne (light creamy teal) -Mila (fine glitter sparkle) -Kate (pearly white) -America The Beautiful I am so happy this box came before 4th of July so I can use the America polish!

This is roughly 6 months of hair growth I still don't have a set regimen, because I am always trying new products. I try not use regular shampoo, if I get a sample of shampoo I might try it but for the most part if it lathers I stay away.

This is a nude base (sorry no name on bottle) with China Glaze "Fireside Glow" sponged on the tips for a gradient glow!

Every once in a while Target will offer a free beauty bag full of beauty samples on their website or Facebook page. Since I am a  BzzAgent  I was given the  Smooth 'N Shine Keratin Power Hair Tamer   kit to try and review. This product claims that it is 5 times less damaging than a relaxer and the results are temporary, lasting only 6 weeks or 5 washes. I think this product is marketed for those of us who don't want a relaxer but still want smooth and manageable hair. Since I don't straighten my hair I asked my mom if I could try this on her hair. My mom has been natural (no relaxer) almost her whole life but straightens her hair regularly, this seem like the perfect product for her. I picked up  The New Black Typography 4 Piece Set  at Sephora and just recently Sephora put up a video on YouTube on how to use the set  \ Well after following those steps these are my nails!

One of my very first blog post I did was about my  Night Time Routine , and I thought that I would show you what I am currently using now, If I have a lot of makeup on I will use a makeup removing wipe first but most days my Clarisonic and Philosophy Purity Made Simple get the job done My next step is to apply my Retin-A that I was prescribed by my doctor. I was suffering from bad breakouts around my chin and I asked my doctor for Retin-A. This really helps with clearing up my skin and the hyper-pigmentation left behind by the breakouts . My night cream of choice is by Befine. I got a sample of this in my  Birchbox  and love it. It is not too heavy and I like how it makes my skin feel. I use  Raw Natural Beauty Raw Skincare Ambiaty Eye Treatment, and I am not crazy about it but I don't hate it either.  My last step is to apply bareMinerals Pure Transformation Night Treatment. This is suppose to reduce pore size but I honestly don't use it regularly eno

Since this month I am celebrating my blog's first birthday I will be doing a few blog post to look back on what a year it has been. This will be all the hair looks I have had in the past 12 months June 2011 in July 2011 I tried some flexi rods and I colored my hair in August 2011 I lost my mind and shaved the side of my head skip to November 2011 when I first tried eSalon  in December I cut off all my relaxed ends  then cut to may when I dyed it again  Wow I went through a lot, but I am guessing the next 12 months will be more of the same hair do'!
