Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive by Monat  was provided to me for free in exchange for my honest review. I was happy to get a chance to try this luxury oil, and the first thing I noticed was the yummy smell. It smells like lemon pound cake. This oil's key ingredient is abyssinian oil, which helps provide nutrients to the hair and smooth the cuticle. I use this oil mainly on my hair but it can be used on the face and body as well. I found that is oil absorbed well into my scalp and hair and left my hair soft and shiny. This oil is a great for curly hair and I will be picking up another bottle when I run out.

I was thinking about doing a french manicure and then I remembered that Influenster sent me Kiss Everlasting French Manicure in my Spring Fling VoxBox. This kit includes different size nail tips along with nail glue, a mini file, and a wooden cuticle stick. These were easy to apply and fit my wide nail bed. While I don't think they look like my natural nails I do think they look as good as if I went and got a set of nails applied at the salon. I would definitely pick a set of these up if my nails were in bad shape and I had an important event to go to (hello wedding season).These claim to last for seven days so I will keep you updated on the wear time but they feel secure and have lasted through a full day of cleaning and cooking. * I  received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

I love a lip crayon, so I was excited to see NYX Chunky Dunk Hydrating Lippie in my GenBeauty swag bag. The color is sheer but you can build it up, and I found that it did keep my lips hydrated. This isn't a super long lasting lip crayon but I think this is a perfect lippie to throw in my purse since it is one of those my-lips-but-better colors. I am curious about the other colors NYX has in these Chunky Dunks any suggestions?

Deborah Lippmann Sarah Smile is a pink nude that I received in a holiday kit for Christmas. This polish is described as a sheer but to me it's too streaky to be sheer and I had to apply 3 coats. After I first applied it I wasn't happy with it but once it dried down the color evened out and it last longer than most polishes do on my nails. While I wouldn't repurchase this color again I do think it's a nice nude to have and would be a great bridal color. 

Influenster was kind enough to send me another VoxBox. I have been making an effort to use up my perfume samples and I came across a sample of one of the newest Chloe fragrances Roses De Chloe. It was pretty much love at first whiff. The fragrance has notes of roses, bergamot, white musk, and amber. I am typically not a floral person, but the smell of this fragrance is so light and fresh, and you just smell like pretty bouquet of pink roses. I ended up buying this as an early b-day gift (to me, from me) and have been obsessed since it has arrived. I think this would make a great Mother's Day gift for any mother young or old.

I was sent the  Crown Brush HD Brush Set w/Mirror and Tweezer  over the holidays to review, and I actually took this set on my family vacation to Disneyland. Along with a mirror and tweezers the HD brush set included six brushes, Pro Powder,Tapered Blush, Deluxe Contour, Crease Blender,Chisel Shadow, and Detailed Liner brush. The set comes in a slim, easy to clean case which I find is easier to travel with than one of those cylinder brush holders. Overall I did enjoy these brushes, they are soft, functional and perfect for my travel needs. My only issues are that I wouldn't use any of these brushes for foundation so I would need to bring a separate brush(or my beauty blender) and the Detailed Liner brush is a bit too long for me to use for liner.  The set comes in four colors red, white, orange and purple (I have the purple one), and retails for $27.95 on  Crownbrush.com . *Items were sent to me for review, bur all opinions are my honest ones 

I know this post is late but I was waiting on a package from Sephora. I am really happy with most of the items I purchased. I have been wanted some of these items since before Christmas and getting an extra 20% was nice. I don't know how much haulin' I will be doing in 2014 because becoming a VIB rouge put my spending in perspective. What was your favorite item you picked up in any of the year end sales.

I was sent three Suave products from Influenster as part of their Suave Family VoxBox program. I was sent a Sweet Pea and Violet lotion for me to try, a body wash for my husband and a mouse to try on my daughter's hair. The Suave Naturals Sweet Pea and Violet lotion has a very fresh scent, and I find that it absorbs quickly. I don't think that it offers 24 hours of hydration but I would repurchase it during the warmer months because I find that a body butter works better during winter. The Sauve Men Body Wash in Refreshing smells very clean (like Irish Spring) and my husband said "no complaints, it does what a body wash is suppose to do". My favorite item that I received was the Suave Kids Cherry Vanilla Bop Mousse. I have never used mousse on my daughter's hair before and didn't know what to expect. Not only is this mouse alcohol free and hypoallergenic but it leaves my daughter with soft bouncy frizz free curls. I will definitely repurchase this when we r

I couldn't think of a better way to bring in the new year than with this festive glitter from Julep. Joelle is a full coverage holographic glitter and I have worn it most of December. It is one of favorite glitters in my collection.
