I am addicted to chocolate, so trying to limit my chocolate candy was not fun. I found out about  Unreal  candy through BzzAgent and I was sent a coupon for 1 free candy bar. Unreal candy is not like a diet candy bar filled with artificial sweeteners but it is also not like your typical candy bars filled with junk like corn syrup (a Dr.Oz  no no). Instead of using artificial colors to color the candy they use stuff like purple cabbage juice.There are 5 different kinds of Unreal  candy, #54 which compares to Peanut M&M's, #41 is like regular M&M's, #5 is like a Milky Way, #8 is like a Snickers and #77 is like a Reese's. Now to compare a regular Reese's is 210 calories with 12g of sugar, a #77 is 190 calories and 11g of sugar. Before my coupon even came I went out and bought (yes with my own money) the 5 different kinds of  Unreal  candy to try them out. I actually like them, they taste great and don't leave me feeling cheated like diet candy does. So n

Here is some of the things I got in the mail today, first I was sent this package by Influenster for my Kiss Nail  Review I did a while back  Kiss Nail Dress in Bustier  imPress Press-on Manicure  then Birchbox was having a promo that if I placed an order I could get two extra samples so I ordered Caldrea hand soap in Ginger Pomelo and got samples of DDF Brightening Cleanser and Amika Hair Mask 

This month Julep teamed up with Trina Turk and here is what was in my classic with a twist box plus I added a polish to my box -Gunta (blue) was the extra polish I added on -Sophie (a mushroom color) -Brandt (cream black) plus we also got a mascara  as always you can get your first maven box for a penny by clicking  HERE  and entering code COLOR2012

Today's post is just a quick tip is to stay hydrated. We all know how important it is to drink water, not soda or juice but just water. I keep track if my water intake through an app called Waterlogged. It logs how many ounces of water I drink in a day and how close I am to my goal of 100oz a day. I am also trying to limit my self to just water or unsweetened ice tea, so I don't drink empty calories.

Ok it is time to check in with everyone and update you with my stats Weight: -3 lb BMI: 34.45 Waist : -.5 inches Hips: +1 Not to much of a change, but in these upcoming weeks I am going to focus on my food intake. How is everyone else doing on their fitness goals?

Happy Friday everyone! I have been taking vitamins forever. I know I don't eat like I should so I like to think that the vitamins off set my bad habits. I take prenatal multivitamins with DHA (no I am not preggers) because it has the benefits of a regular multivitamin and I don't need to but a separate fish oil vitamin because it has added DHA. I have just started taking B-12 this past year because I noticed that my energy was running low and I read that B-12 helps. I also take biotin, for healthy skin hair and nails. I haven't notice a huge difference in my skin or hair but they do seem to make my nails grow faster (not stronger). Do you take vitamins?

Ok it hit me that I have been a  Julep Maven  for a year now so lets look back (I sometimes pick boxes that are not my classic with a twist profile) August 2011 was my first box and it was a good one, 2 polishes a base coat, and a hand scrub September I skipped but October 2011 I got 2 polishes and a hand cream  November 2011 was good and bad I got 1 polish, a lip gloss(bad) and a cosmetic bag (good) December 2011 I skipped but I did buy a Julep glass nail file and go bonus nail glitter   January 2012 I got 2 polishes a bonus nail therapy and a body scrub  February 2012 was had an Oscar theme and I got 2 polishes (one named Oscar) a hair top coat and chocolate  March 2012 came with 2 polishes and Argan Oil I skipped April and May 2012 but in May I did buy a mystery box that came with 4 polishes, hand scrub and a nail file  I skipped June 2012 but got an intro box because I hosted a giveaway which came
