If you remember my post titled  "should I buy"  you know that I have been thinking about purchasing a cleansing tool for my face. After a few months of research and saving (my points and gift cards) I bought a Clarisonic Plus! The Clarisonic Plus is like the regular Clarisonic but it also comes with a body brush that provides gentle exfoliation for your body. Mine also came with the new Deep Pore brush head, which is for oily skin, or large pores. At first I didn't know if I was going to keep it, I liked how it had a timer that let me know how long to wash my face, (I have mild OCD) and the vibrations were relaxing, but my chin started breaking out like CRAZY! Well I was on Beautylish and I came across an article about the Clarisonic (click  HERE  to see it) and one of the members  stated that she was an esthetician and that your skin might break out for the first few weeks because the Clarisonic is purging the skin. Ok here is what I am loving right now Kate Somerville ExfoliKate - I got a sample of this and was hooked! It smells so good and it made my face smooth, soft, and looking amazing after just one use. I now use it 1-2 times a week. Bliss Lemon Sage Body Butter - I love the way this smells and it leaves my skin soft and not greasy Julep Facial for Hands Glycolic Hand Scrub - I use to use  Carols Daughter's lemon ginger mint manicure   but I  like this better because the grain is smaller and  it also uses glycolic acid to exfoliate my dry hands. Lux Naturals Ginger Pear soap - This is the BEST smelling soap I have ever tried in my life I love love love this soap and the plus is that it is natural and good for your skin 

Godiva Martini 2oz Godiva chocolate liqueur 2oz cream de cacao 1 oz vodka 3oz half and half

Because of the stress in my life I relapsed and started biting my nails AGAIN! While shopping in Rite Aid I saw this Here is what my nails looked like before and here is the after The kit came with white tips too but you could totally see the line where my real and fake nail met so I just painted my nails. I think that if I had one of those battery operated nail files I could do a better job but I am gonna try this again. XOXO!

I really want a Sigma Dry' n Shape (click  HERE  to check it out) but untill I get one here is how I keep my makeup brushes looking nice. I wash my brushes with brush conditioning shampoo (well-cared for by B.E.) then I squeeze the excess water out with a towel. Then I slip on some brush guards, (I was actually able to find some on eBay for only 2 bucks!) and lay them on a towel to dry Once my brushes dry they are like new!

August has the most birthdays since more people are born in August than any other month (like my baby Aiden) so this recipe is dedicated to any one celebrating an August Birthday! Birthday Partini 1 1/2 ounce vanilla vodka 1 ounce half-n-half 1/2 ounce almond liqueur a little lemon zest pour all ingredients into a shaker full of ice. shake vigorously & strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

I don't know what is going on this summer but my chin has been breaking out like crazy. As soon as one blemish starts to fade another HUGE mountain will pop up on my chin. As I stated in a recent blog post  I went to a Bare Escentuals boutique and picked up their blemish therapy . The kit comes with a little brush and a pot of acne fighting treatment, and the directions say to pat the treatment on the problem area with the brush. This past week I finally gave it a try, I had a pimple that was red and sore on my chin and I patted on some of this blemish therapy in the morning and at night. My results, well it didn't magically make the pimple go away overnight but it did sooth the pimple and lessened the size and irritation. I also like how it diffused the redness and didn't leave a dry crusty patch where the pimple used to be. I would give this 4.5 out of 5 stars XOXO !

I found this recipe on  www.cosmopolitan.com Bartlett Pear Sangria 2 diced Bartlett pears 10 lemon slices 1 bottle of pinot grigio 1 cup triple sec 1 cup brandy Ginger ale Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. So apparently subcriptions are the new big thing in beauty and I found a new one to sign up for. It's called  Julep Maven , and it is kinda like  Jewel Mint  but with nail polish insted of jewelery. So last week I  posted that I won  Pureology Perfect 4 Platinum  shampoo and conditioner and after using the products twice here are my thoughts.  On their web site it states:     " Perfect4Platinum  is for highlighted and fragile, blond hair. Formulated with  Keravis , the strengthening formulas fill in gaps on the hair strand while a blend of chamomile, lemon and coriander extracts condition to soften hair's texture, clarify for increased brightness and nourish to magnify shine." Even though I don't have blond hair I figured I can benefit from a product that will brighten my hair plus my hair is fragile. The shampoo had a quite a bit of lather for being sulfate free, which I loved because I miss the bubbles when I use WEN(what I normally use on my hair) and after I rinsed my hair my hair still felt soft and not stripped like some shampoos can leave it. So yesterday the UPS man dropped of a package and inside there were mini bottles of  Pureology Perfect 4 Platinum  shampoo and conditioner, and a note stating that I won their facebook giveaway I entered a few weeks back. This  past weekend I went to a Bare Escentuals boutique for their National Makeup Artist Event. After having my face cleansed and prepped, I had my make up done by Dondrae Andolini. Dondrae is one of Bare Escentuals national makeup artist  from Los Angeles, CA. After telling her I wanted a bold green look she started applying my makeup and this is the fished look.
