My Second Year With Julep

I have been a Julep Maven for 2 years now! It's one of the only few subscription services that I have stuck with. Here is a look back on my second year with Julep (to see my first year click HERE)

August 2012- I ordered an American Beauty themed mystery box

September 2012- This box was a collaboration with Trina Turk and it included Julep's mascara

October 2012- After everyone freaked out about crackle polish Julep offered an extra monthly maven option, which I ordered

November 2012- In November came the long awaited suedes

March 2013- March is where they replaced the American Beauty maven profile with the Modern Beauty profile. The Modern Beauty maven box is a product only box.

May 2013- This was actually one of my favorite boxes the theme was 1920's and everything was beautifully packaged

Looking back I am impressed with Julep and I look forward to year 3.

I was sent  Rodan + Fields REDEFINE and ACUTE CARE  for review but all opinions are my own! I am in my 30's now so using anti-aging skin care is really important to me. I want to do whatever I can to prevent and treat wrinkles but I also suffer from hormonal breakouts, so finding a regimen to treat both can be tricky. I was interested in  Rodan + Fields REDEFINE and ACUTE CARE  products because they claimed to treat lines, pores, and the loss of firmness. This skin care kit is a 3 step system that is simple, and here are my thoughts. Step 1- Daily Cleansing Mask This cleanser took a little bit for me to get used to because it is a thick, non-foaming cleanser that is more like a mask than cleanser (hence the name). It can be used day and night, but I would remove your makeup completely before you use this cleanser. I honestly think this cleanser was what cleared up my skin.
