Here is what I finished up this week Beauty Secrets Pure Acetone Nail Polish Remover-  I get this at Sally Beauty Supply I like the Acetone one better  bareMinerals Mineral Veil-  I have had this for soooo long. It is not my favorite setting powder so I am glad it's gone Marie Veronique Organics Body Oil-  I got this in my October  Birchbox  and I didn't care for it. I am not a fan of body oils in general. Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel-  This was the very first moisturizer that I ever purchased and this sample reminded me of how much I missed it.  Mary Kay TimeWise Firming Eye Cream-  My sister gave me this to try and I think it's a bit too heavy for me especially in the day time  Let's see what I can finish up this week.

I don't have any real plans for Halloween besides taking my kids trick or treating but I did pick up a few fun items at Rite Aid Wet N Wild Fantasy Makers in Devilish Diva NYC Nail Polish in Demon Glow and Haunted (black with gold glitter) What are your plans for Halloween? 

So after getting an email Ipsy (formally know as My Glam) I decided to give them one more try. Let's look back on the bag I did receive and why I quit January: This was my first box and I was pleased with it  February  This was the beging of my annoyance I never used that Nume coupon code and then there was that whole sample labeling issue  March  This was my last bag because I felt like these were random samples I was not really going to use and the quality of the brushes were not great. We also got another coupon code in this bag and I didn't sign up for coupon codes. So lets hope that with the new name comes better bags, but I think that I am going to put them on a 3 month probation.

I only picked up 2 things at Ulta but they are both worth mentioning. I picked up the Urban Decay Book of Shadows III Redux. I never purchased the original one and if your lucky to find one on Amazon or Ebay it's like $199. So when I saw this on sale for $39 I picked it up.  It comes with 16 eyeshadows  -Oil Slick, Uzi, Stray Dog, Mildew -Midnight Cowboy Rides Again, SWF, Last Call, Rock Star -Haight, Maui Wowie, Aquarius, Smog -Goddess, Sin, YDK, Escstasy an eyeliner in Zero and a Primer Potion here is a close up of the shadows  and last but not least I purchased Real Techniques Core Collection this came with a -Detailer Brush  -Pointed Foundation Brush  -Buffing Brush -Contour Brush  this is going to be my go to kit while I am packing and moving and don't have access to my complete makeup collection.

Here is what I used up this week  WEN by Chaz Dean in Fig - Click  HERE  to see a review on WEN  AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask-  I got this sample in my  Birchbox  and I really like it. It cleans out my pores and the best part is that it is only a 2 minute mask instead of waiting 10 minutes like most masks. Neutrogena Acne Stress Control Power Cream Wash-  I have bought this face wash a few times and for the most part it works, however I like it better in the winter time when my skin is a but dryer. Revlon Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara-  I will not be purchasing this mascara again the brush is too big and it does nothing for my lashes BeautyMint Essential Cleanser-  This is an effective and gentle cleanser click  HERE  to see my review on the whole BeautyMint line Kate Somerville ExfoliKate-  I have bought this over and over again it works great but the only down size is it is expensive  Eco Styler Krystal-  This works just as well as the othe

I often get asked "how did you get that for free?" and I wanted to share one of my favorite sites.  Influenster  is a site that sends you VoxBoxes based on how influential you are on certain products. This means since I have an interest in beauty items they might send me a box filled with beauty goodies for me to review on my blog, YouTube, twitter, or Facebook. They have just relaunched their new website so now is the time to check it out and become a member. I have been a member for about two years now and below are some of the boxes I have received   

So I am moving to another state so I have to use up some of these products before I move at the end of November. So I will updating ya'll on what I use up and hopefully I will not buy anymore products. Cover FX Clear Prep FX - I really like this primer, I am not sure if it helped with break-outs but it does help with controlling shine.  Carol's Daughter Hair Milk Pudding - This was a full size but I only got 2-3 uses out of it. It made my hair extremely dry so I don't think I would buy this again. People get really pissed off when YouTube gurus talk about  BeautyMint ! I guess the fact that gurus were given the products or got paid to mention the products rubbed people the wrong way. I really wanted to see what all the fuss was about so I ordered a  BeautyMint  kit for myself. Like all other subscription services you take a quiz to see what products would be best for you. I am not sure that  BeautyMint  really uses the info from the quiz since the kit that they gave me was the same as everybody else I saw on YouTube. Even people with totally different skin then me had the same kit. Then the box came and I saw how tiny the bottles were and I laughed to myself. Some of these bottles are the same size as the samples I get in my Birchbox. Birchbox is $10 a month and BeautyMint is $39.99. The actual products themselves are just ok; I didn’t notice a difference in my skin after a month of using the system. The cleanser is super gentle but removes makeup. The serum was fine bu
