I went through my make up stash and found way too many glosses 22 to be exact, I feel like that is wayyyyyy too many for one lady (especially since they were mostly all in a shade of pink) I have lip glosses that plump, lip glosses that smooth out lip lines, I even have lip glosses that are suppose to supress my appatie and speed  up my metabolism. Well after watching PunchyPink87 You Tube video (Click  HERE  to watch it) I learned that some of these glosses needed to be tossed. I found a few that looked like this I couldn't remember when I got these but they were starting to separate and they had to go. So that left me with a little under 20 lip glosses still in my collection and I WILL NOT be buying anymore lip glosses until the ones I have get used up or expire. Wish me luck! XOXO

So here is a summer cocktail recipe to make for that girls night out (courtesy of Cosmopolitan magazine) Berry Mojito 5 fresh mint leaves 1 tsp. granulated sugar 4 lime wedges, juiced 2 oz. Bacardi Razz 1/4 oz. Chambord 1/4 oz. Blue Curaçao Splash of club soda Garnish: mint, blueberries, and raspberries In a tall glass, crush mint with a fork. Add sugar and lime juice; stir. Add Bacardi, Chambord, and Blue Curaçao. Mix, and top with club soda. Garnish. Source: Chad Weller, Rumi, Miami P.S. After reading about how everyone else received their June  Birchbox  I was starting to wonder where the heck was mine, but it finally came Inside was: 1. A sample of Kate Spade Twirl 2. A sample of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Oil Free Lotion (it's not even in stores yet)7 3. A full size Laura Geller Baked Blush N' Brighten in "apricot berry" 4. A sample of Xen-Tan (a self tanner) 5. Two Herban Essentials Orange Towelettes (germ killing hand wipes) I'm happy it finally came and REALLY want to try out everything! XOXO!

Here is how I did this nail look: 1. Apply a base coat I used  Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Wraps 2. I applied Ulta Salon Formula Nail Lacquer in "Encore Pink" all over my nail 3. I applied  Revlon Nail Enamel in Pink Ice  to 3/4 of my nail leaving 1/4 of the encore pink at the bottom 4. I applied  Orly Coquette Cutie  to the top half of my nail leaving 1/4 of the pink ice showing 5. I applied  Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear Nail Color Polish  in "Fuchsia Pink" to the top 1/4 of my nail (you should now have 4 pink horizontal stripes on your nails starting with the darkest color at the tip) don't worry about the stripes looking perfect. 6. After polish dries apply  OPI Black Shatter  all over the nail 7. Finish with a top coat and clean up edges Have a beautiful week! XoXo!

I have been hearing a lot about cleansing tools for your face, right now I am currently using  Clean & Clear Morning Burst Surge Energizing Power Cleanser , but I want to upgrade. Of course you probably heard of the Clarisonic , it was one of Oprah's favorite things (I think in 2008?), and it has sonic waves that are suppose to clean your face 6 times better than your hands. But I really don't want to shell out the $200 bucks to get one. Claraisonic also has a mini one called the  Clarisonic Mia  and that retails for $150 and HSN sells a similar product called the  Nutra Sonic  for $100. Since I don't have terrible skin I'm having a hard time justifying those prices on cleaning tool I don't NEED. Lucky there are cheaper options. I did a little research and found  Olay Professional Pro-X Advanced Cleansing System  which is about $30 and the  Sigma Cleansing & Polishing Tool   is about $40 but I have a 10 percent off code (see my beauty deals page)both promis

Last week I went to Ulta to pick up bene f it's new mascara called "they're real", but of course I couldn't walk out of ulta with just one thing. So I ended up getting all this: But what I really want to talk about is all this  Ulta was having a flash sale of the new bene f it mascara,(check out earlier post for details) and I bought a pencil sharpener because they were having a special. If you spent $25 on bene f it products you get a free "happy beauty day" kit which included a sample size of posetint, porefessional, and bad gal mascara. Plus I got a mini lipstick in "lady's choice" Back to the mascara, it has a wand that is different from other mascaras. The special wand allows you to get every little lash and makes applying mascara to the bottom lashes easy peasy! I have a lot mascaras and this is now one of my new favorites. I have very short lashes, and 9 times out of 10 I rather not fuss with falsies so I need a mascara

I try a lot of products, and this is what I am currently loving right now: Carol's Daughter Marguerite's Magic -This stuff is awesome, and has really been helping my hair stay soft and moisturized. It doesn't leave my hair greasy or weighed down and you only need a tiny bit, so the jar should last a while. I use it on wet and dry hair.   NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Milan- I got this in my Allure summer beauty box (see earlier post for details) and I am so glad I did. I love the color(I love girly pink lips) and it is so creamy!  Cha Cha Tint from bene f it- this is their newest tint and I LOVE it! It is the perfect bright color for summer I use it on my cheeks and lips   What is your favorite beauty items right now? XOXO!

Today I watched a live webcast with Harry Josh, he is the international creative consultant for John Fredia, and has done hair for Cameron Diaz, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Hillary Swank, Fergie, Reese Witherspoon, Renee Zellweger, Ali Larter, Al Pacino, Benicio Del Toro, Josh Hartnett, Leonardo DeCaprio, and supermodels Christy Turlington, Helena Christensen and Gisele Bundchen.   The webcast was mostly to promote John Fredia’s full repair line, but I did pick up a few tips. The full repair line has an ingredient called Inca inchi oil, the oil is full of omega 3, and is supposed to renew damage locks.   The webcast did make me want to try the line since my hair could use all the help it can get, so maybe on my next haul I will pick up some of their products.   Have you tried any of their products, if so let me know in the comment box.
